Endicott: “Hello, press desk?” Endicott is one of our fearless and snappy reporters, calling the shots and informing the media with the breaking  news stories that pop up throughout the lively play. Making sure he gets the information right before jetting off to capture the next lead. When the news is calmer, you will find Endicott with his fellow reporters and poker buddies. Endicott is played by Alastair Mackay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hildy: Enter Hildy Johnson, soon-to-be wife, and beat journalist. She has the scoop, and needs the world to know, especially Walter, her ex, and boss. With her ear to the ground, Hildy is always paying attention to breaking news, ready to catch the exclusive. Hildy is played by Sandra D’Angelo, Snowglobe’s General Manager.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peter: When not in his role as Walter, Peter is in director-mode, providing insight for the cast. Amidst Act 1, Peter smiles at the slapstick moments between reporters as they fumble with the surprise news. Peter Giser is Snowglobe’s Artistic Director, and the author of the original adaptation of the His Girl Friday script.

 

 

 

Bruce and Hildy: Aformentioned Hildy is going to be a newlywed (if nothing gets in her way). The tall handsome blond is her fiance, Bruce Baldwin. In this scene, Hildy is convincing Bruce that she will only be “one more moment” up here in the press room, and they can leave for their wedding soon. Nevertheless, something will get in the way, and Hildy may be longer than they planned. Poor Bruce might be waiting a while. Bruce is played by Zach Sykes.

 

 

 

 

Poker: No news is good news for the reporters; who play cards at the press room while they wait for the exclusive. This just in: our cast actually plays real-time unscripted poker live during the show, and the game develops through the scenes.
